Holger Kreuttner, CEO of Sparkassenstiftung Ostalb, handed over the equipment worth Eur 2,000.00 to Academy Director Moritz von Woellwarth. 20 Nov 2024 How the oak became a piece of art Johann Eustach von Westernach statue at Kapfenburg Castle » more May 06th 2024. The team of the “Bauhhof Lauchheim” delivers the trunk of an oak tree. Under the supervision of Werner Kowarsch, it’s placed in the castle garden. Over the coming weeks, the former mayor and sculptor transforms the wood into the statue of the most famous commander of Kapfenburg Castle - Johann Eustach von Westernach. The statue was completed just in time for the start of the anniversary festival and has now been officially handed over to Academy Director Moritz von Woellwarth by Werner Kowarsch and Mayor Andrea Schnele. “The statue is a real eye-catcher and will outlast us all,” said von Woellwarth. “It’s probably the best gift we have received for our 25th anniversary.” 06 Sep 2024 Trude Eipperle Rieger award 2024 The winners are Veronika Loy and Lukas Krimmel » more Soprano Veronika Loy and bass bariton Lukas Krimmel are two young musicians with exceptional voices.
