How It WorksOur user testers provide valuable insights to help companies create better and more inclusive products. The feedback we collect helps drive positive changes in how companies design and develop their websites and products. When a new client joins Hello Access, we work with people who have disabilities to test different parts of their products or websites.Recording the TestUser testers record themselves using the product or website while sharing their thoughts out loud. This means they talk about what’s easy, what’s hard, and what works or doesn’t work.Understanding the ExperienceThe recordings help clients see what’s working well and where there are problems, so you can make improvements.Compiling the summaryAfter the user tests are complete, we put together a summary of all the feedback that you can access via our Hello Access platform, alongside the video. This helps you see all the accessibility issues in one place so you can make the product or website better! Get startedTrusted by startups and companiesI love it! You rock.Jesse Pollak@base contributor #001I feel embarrassed to admit it, but I've never thought about the functionality of our website for users with disabilities. The 20-minute audit that Julius ran provided an overview of all of the opportunities we have to improve it, making it truly accessible for everyone.Sophie EvansMarketing Manager at Coffee SupremeAkahu is for all Kiwis, so we knew that we needed specific design input to ensure broad accessibility. Steven and Julius were fast, competent, and excellent communicators of their findings. Highly recommend.Josh DaniellCEO at AkahuThank you so much! I really appreciate this very detailed feedback. I've shared the video with the team and drafted a list of things we should prioritize to improve the experience based on your recommendations. Again, thank you 🙏Julie ChabinHead of Design at Product HuntExtremely appreciative that @stevenmale went out of the way to record a video going through Bountycaster to share what works well and doesn't work well from an accessibility standpoint@pirosb3 and I both learned a lot on easy things we can do to make our site more accessibleLinda XieBuilding @bountycaster Thank you so much for completing not just one but two user tests for us! I appreciate the format of the tests (Loom videos + insight callouts in the side panel) and the way you summarize the key takeaways both in the videos and in the sidebar (easy to digest & recall). I liked seeing the tester's bio and thought Aadityaa did a great job explaining the tools he uses and why something is an issue for screen readers.Rebekah HickeyUX ManagerThis was SO cool!!! Thank you so much for this opportunity. I've never seen someone read a website with a screen reader, so I learned so much – for example, I never really knew before why the header hierarchies mattered. But now that I've seen this, it's obvious why they matter!
Lauren PeateCEO at MultitudesAs someone who is passionate about fostering a culture strong in DI&B at work, I'm always open to learning more about how to make a company more inclusive. Speaking with Steven and watching Julius use the screen reader has now got me thinking about accessibility from a whole new angle for which I am extremely grateful.Varun Bhandarkar Manager, Existing Business APAC & JapanFirst of all, this is really really cool. For background, I am a visual designer, and I do not code. Seeing it BREAK on the user tester like that was really eye opening and I really appreciate you bringing that to my attention. This is a great product.Aditi RajagopalExperience Design at MetaBest user testing experience we have had with any service - and we have tried many! Hello Access went above and beyond in testing our [sign language] learning app. Their clear action plan included a mix of design improvements and design wins within our product that hit just the right balance with our deign team. We expect to use Hello Access a lot moving forward. Endre Olsvik ElvestadFounder ASL BloomWe felt it was time to make sure our website does all it needed to for our disabled community. We really didn’t know where to start, but knew we needed to start right at the beginning. The user accessibility test was ideal for understanding how ‘good’ or ‘bad’ our website was. It highlighted a couple of key factors, one of those being that our alt text wasn’t pulling through from the website, even though we had this behind our images. Also, ideally, we should have a better contact form in place that can be used with a screen reader. Now, it’s about going deeper. We plan to look at what’s next to ensure we’re hitting the mark on all aspects throughout the website.Maria PageCommunications Lead at MomentaBook your user test todayJoin others around the world who are creating more digitally accessible websites & products through user testing.Get in touchNo credit card requiredHello Access aims to make accessibility as fun and easy as possible for companies looking to be inclusive.Learn MoreHomeBlogWorkContactMade with ♥ and powered by coffees in Aotearoa (New Zealand)© Hello Access 2024
