Suguru Minamide CreatorProducerPhotographerComposer& Artist 01 About me 神戸出身、13歳で渡英。英国王立ウェールズ音楽演劇大学ピアノ科卒。2005年に15年の英国生活を経て帰国。長年の海外経験を活かしクラシック音楽を軸に多分野を横断する発想力と、作品を形にする確かなプロデュース力で注目を集めている。企画立案から制作、発信に至るまで一貫して関わり、表現の本質を見極めながら、時代や場所にふさわしいかたちへと昇華させる手腕に定評がある。作り手と聴き手、演者と空間、文化と社会を結びつける視点は、プロジェクトに奥行きと持続性をもたらす。ジャンルや慣習にとらわれない柔軟な思考と、細部まで妥協しない姿勢により、新たな価値を生み出し続ける存在として、国内外のクリエイターや関係者から厚い信頼を得ている。 Born in Kobe, he moved to the UK at the age of 13 and graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. After 15 years in the UK, he returned to Japan in 2005. Drawing on his extensive international experience, he has attracted attention for his cross-disciplinary creativity rooted in classical music, as well as his proven ability to bring ideas to fruition through meticulous production. He is consistently involved in every stage of a project—from planning and creation to presentation—distilling the essence of expression and refining it into forms suited to their time and place. His perspective, which connects creators and audiences, performers and spaces, culture and society, brings depth and sustainability to each project. Unconstrained by genre or convention, and guided by flexible thinking and an uncompromising attention to detail, he continues to generate new value and enjoys the strong trust of creators and collaborators both in Japan and internationally. Creator, music producer, pianist and composer. Born in Kobe, Japan, he moved to Cardiff, Wales, when he was 13. After graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, he was involved in various multicultural projects in Wales, including the UK-Japan Festival in 2001. After spending 15 years in Wales, he returned to Japan. As a music producer, he has produced and managed orchestras in India & Kazakhstan, and run various international music festivals, competitions and concerts for foreign artists, including world-renowned violinist Shlomo Mintz. He has also supported Sir Karl Jenkins, Adiemus and LIBELA for their concerts in Japan.
 In 2009, to create more awareness of women's equality in Japan, he founded the Bloom Quartet & Ensemble, the first major Japanese professional string orchestra consisting of only young female musicians. This was followed by founding two more orchestras in Kobe and Nagoya, which has become the nation’s largest female-only string orchestra.
 In 2011, he founded the Tohoku Kodomo Orchestra in Koriyama, Fukushima, as part of his post-earthquake Tohoku regeneration project. This pioneer initiative led to many other junior orchestras being founded in Tohoku. In 2023, he performed with Stuart Varnam-Atkin in the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan (FCCJ) event “A September Shakespeare Soiree” as a pianist and composer. In 2024, he created, produced a reading drama with his original music themed on Mabinogion, the series of Welsh folktales from the 11th century, for the St David's Society Japan. In 2024, he created and produced a brand-new reading drama "Willam Adams -A Voyage Around The Blue-Eyed Samurai In Music and Words" with Stuart Varnam-Atkin, based on a story of William Adams, the first ever Englishman accepted into Japanese society at the dawn of the 17th century. In 2025, he founded an information platform "Cymru.jp" to promote Wales and its culture and arts and became a curator of the site. In the same year, he was offered a position as personal advisor for Noh Actor Master Sakurama Ujin, the 21st head of Sakurama Family and a leading Shite-Kata Noh actor in Komparu School. Suguru Minamide BA(Music) ・Director of Music Inc. ・The Japan Welsh Society Founder. ・Cymru.jp Founder & Curator ・Advisor to Noh Actor Master Sakurama Ujin, of Komparu School ・The Asiatic Society of Japan Member ・The William Adams Club Member ・The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan Committee Member and Honorary Member ・Director, Producer and Composer of reading drama "The Mabinogion" series ・Director, Producer and Composer of William Adams - A Voyage Around The Blue-Eyed Samurai In Music And Words ・Terroir de Kobe "Kobe Luxury Dinner Show With Music, Sake and Japanese Cuisine Producer ・Morita Ajino Yakata "Terroir de Japanese Sake and Music" Producer ・Akio Morita Club Navigator and video creator ・Cervical Cancer Awareness Project "LOVE49KOBE" Producer ・Sanbo Academy of Music Producer and Creative Advisor ・Kobe Cultural City Concert Producer ・Kobe Former Foreign Settlement Premium Classical Concert Producer In the Past ・Kobe City Koiso Memorial Museum Monthly Concert Producer (2016〜2021) ・Tohoku Kodomo Orchestra in Fukushima Producer and Music Director(2011〜2016) (Post-earthquake Tohoku regeneration project) ・Royal Northern College of Music, Japan & Korea Representative ・Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Marketing Senior Advisor ・St David's Society of Japan, Committee Member & Music Director 神戸に生まれ13歳で英国ウェールズの首都カーディフに移り住む。英国王立ウェールズ音楽演劇大学(Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama)ピアノ科を卒業。在学中よりコンサートの企画出演や室内楽グループのプロデュース、舞台音楽の作曲などで英国国内をはじめヨーロッパ各地で公演を開催。2005年に15年の英国生活を経て拠点をアジアに移し、インド交響楽団の設立やカザフスタンの管弦楽団の運営等でアジア諸国で活動。その後日本に拠点を置き日本国内の国際音楽祭やコンクール、世界的Violinistシュロモ・ミンツのパガニーニ・カプリス全曲公演（2009年／紀尾井ホール）等の企画制作運営や、カール・ジェンキンズ＆Adeimus、LIBERA日本公演のサポート業務等を行う。そのほか英国王立ウェールズ音楽演劇大学(Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama)のマーケティング部の首席顧問、英国王立ノーザン音楽院(Royal Northern College of Music)の日本・韓国代表等を歴任。海外の音楽教育機関でも幅広く活躍してきた。 2007年に日本の若手女性演奏家の育成と安定した演奏活動環境の構築を目標に女子弦楽四重奏団Bloom Quartetを結成。2009年に音楽プロダクションMusic inc.を設立し同年メンバー20名に及ぶ女子弦楽アンサンブルBloom Quartet & Ensembleのプロデューサー兼芸術監督に就任、東京文化会館デビュー公演をプロデュース。その後Bloom Quartet & Ensemble KANSAI, Bloom Quartet & Ensemble NAGOYAをそれぞれ神戸と名古屋で結成し、総勢70名に及ぶ日本国内最大級の女性だけのクラシック弦楽アンサンブルに発展。クラシック音楽雑誌「ストリングス」や「ぶらあぼ」でも数々取り上げられ“クラシック界のAKB”とも称され話題となり、クラシック音楽の新たなファン構築を実現する。その後Bloom Quartet Ensemble (TOKYO)の韓国全土ツアーなど、国内にとどまらず国際的な活動を行うアンサンブルに育て上げた。 2011年東日本大震災をうけ復興支援プロジェクト『東北こどもオーケストラ』を立案し、福島県郡山市にパソナグループと共同で『東北こどもオーケストラin郡山』を同年9月に結成し音楽監督に就任。その後各地で結成された数々の復興オーケストラの先駆けとなる。 2015年に生まれ故郷神戸の芸術文化の更なる発展を目標にEpicus Flute Duo & Ensemble、神戸フルートソサエティ等を発足。2016年に神戸市立小磯記念美術館マンスリーコンサート〜絵と音の共演〜を立案、総合プロデュースとナビゲーターを務める（2016-2022）。神戸国際フルート音楽祭(2017)では自身がプロデュースしたEpicus Flute Duo & Ensembleが音楽祭広報アンバサダーに就任。同年より神戸市の要請を受けて国指定重要文化財の有効活用の一環で「こうべ文化まちのコンサート」、神戸旧居留地の賑わい作りを目標に、神戸旧居留地の知られざるクラシック音楽の歴史を読み解く「神戸旧居留地Premium Classical Concert」を企画し総合プロデュース＆ナビゲーターを始める。2018年に神戸旧居留地の路上パフォーマンスに特化したクラシックユニットMuse Trinityをプロデュース。同年発足した神戸・旧居留地はいからプロジェクトでは数々の路上クラシックライブを手掛ける。2019年神戸で開催されたクロスメディア・フェスティバル078では、南出卓＆Classic Ensembleを率いてテクノとクラシックのコラボレーションをドイツを拠点に活動するアーティストSUDOと共演。同年神戸におけるラグビーワールドカップ日本大会の試合開催期間に、神戸旧居留地で《BEyond KOBE in 旧居留地～神戸が誇る日本と西洋の伝統文化、そして芸術が集結～》の企画製作を担当。4日間で40を超すパフォーマンスや体験イベントを実施する。 新型コロナ感染症の影響で流行したクラシックコンサートのONLINE生配信に先駆け、2010年頃からONLINE生配信(USTREAM)に積極的に取り組み、Bloom Quartet & Ensemble東京文化会館公演(2010）のONLINE生配信等、クラシック業界の先駆けとなる企画を数多く手掛けてきた。神戸市でプロデュース中だった「小磯記念美術館マンスリーコンサート」(2016~2022)もコロナの影響を受けて2020年3月に休止となったが翌4月から自身で自己負担し完全ONLINE化を行い、プロデューサー、学芸員と演奏家がそれぞれリモートで出演する革新的なコンテンツを生み出し話題を呼んだ。同時期にONLINE配信による演奏家の継続的活動を目標に有料コンテンツの制作も自らで行い、これまでに100本を超える演奏映像の制作を行う。その結果外部から映像製作依頼が殺到し2021年にコンサート・アーティストプロデュースに加え映像クリエイターとしてMusic Inc.映像製作部門をスタートさせる。 2022年にJR西日本主催 ちょこっと関西歴史たび特別企画として、「神戸旧居留地Premium Classical Concert in TOOTH TOOTH凸凹茶房」を神戸市立博物館でプロデュース＆出演。同年兵庫DCキャンペーン・プレキャンペーン特別企画として「Terroir de Kobe《灘の日本酒と音楽の宴》ディナーショー」をプロデュース＆出演。また愛知県常滑市でSONY創業者の1人盛田昭夫の実家の江戸時代からの家業であった酒造会社の蔵で「盛田味の館《日本酒と音楽のテロワール》」シリーズを発足。盛田昭夫が幼少期に使っていた1920年代製のアップライトピアノを完全修復してその音色を日本酒と共に楽しむコンサートシリーズを実施中。 2021年からはSONY創業者の1人 盛田昭夫の遺族からの要請を受け、盛田昭夫の元で働いた人や盛田昭夫を直接知る人の証言を集めたインタビュー映像集「Akio Morita Club（AMC企画）」のインタビュアー兼映像製作者としてYouTubeで配信中。 近年は自身もアーティストとして英国在住ガラス彫刻家Griet Beyaertと映像と音楽のアートコラボレーション（英国 Arts Council England基金助成事業）でピアノ即興演奏や、日本外国特派員協会主催 「A September Shakespeare Soiree」では、英国出身の役者 ・ライター・TV プレゼンター ・ナレーター のステュウット-ヴァーナム-アトキンによるシェイクスピア作品の朗読と、自身の新曲＆即興演奏による特別コラボレーションを行い、2024年には11世紀ウェールに伝わるウェールズ幻想物語「Mabinogion」をテーマに新作朗読劇を製作そして作曲し日本ウェールズ協会主催のもと日本外国特派員協会で初演。2024年10月には米ハリウッド版大河ドラマ「SHOGUN 将軍」のモデルとなったイギリス人航海士William Adams（三浦按針）の生涯を辿る最新朗読劇「William Adams （三浦按針） - A Voyage Around The Blue-Eyed Samurai In Music And Words」の製作・総合プロデュース・作曲を担当。 これらの功績が認められ2024年に日本外国特派員協会より名誉会員を授与され、その後同協会の委員に任命される。また2025年より日本の伝統芸能である能楽のプロデュースにも力を入れており、シテ方金春流能楽師 櫻間右陣（櫻間家第21代当主）の顧問に就任。2026年5月には同氏の舞台人生60周年記念公演（国立能楽堂）の第1部のプロデュースと自身の新曲で舞と音楽のコラボレーションを行う。また同年に自身が育った英ウェールズ文化・芸術を発信する情報プラットフォームCymru.jpを開設しキュレイターとして運営中。jaja1773368521https://sguru.jp
