Established as a joint venture between Daimler Truck, the TRATON GROUP, and the Volvo Group, the company was created to accelerate the transition to zero-emission freight. September 2022 Vision unveiled Milence unveils its bold vision for the future of electric freight at IAA Transportation 2022 in Hannover, Germany. December 6, 2022 Brand launch The Milence brand is officially launched, introducing a bold new identity dedicated to building a pan-European public charging network for electric trucks. December 2023 First hub operational Milence begins operations with the opening of its first charging hub in Venlo, The Netherlands, marking a major step forward in enabling electric trucking across Europe. June 2024 Milence flagship hub The first full Milence design and charging concept goes live in Antwerp, Belgium.
