A symbol of the industrial past of our hometown, this manufacturing plant now stands as a landmark of beauty and innovation. The restoration project embodies our company’s commitment to a zero-land-consumption philosophy. To celebrate this transformation, we are releasing a series of interviews featuring former Olivetti managers who once worked there, sharing their memories and experiences. Just last year, we successfully neutralized 70,994.28 kg of CO2e. Even though carbon offsetting has a positive impact on the environment, it does not directly minimize the carbon footprint of the transport sector. This is why, starting this year, we have embarked on a new path towards sustainability through insetting. Thanks to DHL GoGreen Plus, we are actively reducing carbon emissions with investments in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). LEARN MORERESPECTING THE EXISTINGRESPECTING THE EXISTING Thanks to the acquisition of a former Olivetti typewriter factory, we were able to expand our facilities without consuming additional land, giving new life to an industrial site that would have otherwise faced complete and irreversible decline. The building, originally designed in the 1960s by the globally renowned architect Marco Zanuso, also saw the early contributions of a young Renzo Piano. Our commitment to local heritage inspired us to open an exhibition space dedicated to typewriters within our facility.
