In his current position as Vice President of Food & Beverage, he oversees a variety of one-of-a-kind restaurants and cafes as well as private lounges. Chris is also tasked with Food & Beverage partnerships and consults for the Golf Course, Sportsbook, and any new F&B offering. In his free time, Chris loves to participate in local road races and coaches youth soccer in his hometown of Mystic, CT. JEFF President & General Manager Jeff rose up the ranks quickly and justifiably, becoming President & General Manager of Mohegan Sun. He loves the guests, whether they’re coming for a two night stay, a concert, a dinner, a convention, or a day-trip, but he really loves his Team Members most of all. Jeff thrives on the excitement of seeing teams coming together to accomplish almost anything. He is always planning for the future and determining ways to transform the property for the better. COLIN Event Manager Colin is an Event Manager with Mohegan Sun’s Digital Gaming Department, where he plays a key role in driving brand engagement through innovative activations and live events. A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Colin brings both strategic insight and creativity to his work. Outside of the office, he enjoys boating with family, hiking, biking, and exploring local restaurants. KEVIN Assistant General Manager Kevin has been with Mohegan Sun since day one. He has held a variety of positions in his 28 years at Mohegan Sun. He has an important role as Assistant General Manager where he gets to work hand-in-hand with Jeff. Kevin grew up in a large family being the 7th of 8 kids total. He values family and relationships over everything. When asked what his favorite part of his job is, “The people I work with and the relationships built over the 28 years.” LAUREN Director of Special Events Lauren has always maintained a high level of creativity since joining Mohegan Sun 12 years ago. As Director of Special Events, she has the drive and dedication that has led to countless, incredible, one-of-a-kind events. Lauren also makes a significant impact on her community through the United Way where she is a board member of Young Leaders United. In her free time, she loves skiing, cooking, and going on hikes with her dog, Goose, and husband, Harry. LINDSAY Director of Events & Creative Experience Confident, charismatic, and caring, at the top of Lindsay’s priority list are two daughters, a son and her husband. Even with a challenging schedule of kids’ homework, dance lessons, gymnastic practice and much more, she excels in her career duties, such as planning events with artists and celebrities. Her position is the perfect way to combine her knowledge of events, public relations, and the entertainment industry. GREG Director of Sports & Entertainment Greg joined Mohegan in 2007 and currently serves as Director of Sports & Entertainment, having previously held leadership roles in publicity, nightlife, and entertainment management. Dedicated to balancing a demanding career with family life, Greg and his wife are proud parents of two young daughters. He is committed to delivering world-class entertainment experiences that bring people together and highlight the unifying power of music. KAYLA Sports & Entertainment Contract and Schedule Specialist Kayla has worked for Mohegan Sun for 20 great years! For the last five years, she has held a position as a Sports & Entertainment Contract and Scheduling Specialist. She loves being outdoors with family and friends; it doesn't matter if it's the beach, the backyard, or going for a hike. “There is nothing better than being at a concert or show, standing back to take in the crowd's excitement, knowing I had a hand in creating that.” MARC Regional Marketing Manager Marc will celebrate 29 years at Mohegan Sun this year! Marc graduated from Central CT State University with a degree in Sociology & Human Services. As Regional Marketing Manager, Marc loves interacting with both the resort guests and the public. He is on the road a lot, but he does find it important to strike a good life/work balance. DERRICK Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Derrick is a day-one Team Member at Mohegan Sun and currently serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Human Resources. Over his career, he has held leadership roles in Hotel Operations, Transportation and more. Derrick is passionate about fostering belonging through cultural celebrations and impactful team programs. Outside of work, he enjoys music, theater, bowling, watching sports, and spending time with his three daughters and extended family. CHEF CHRIS SANTOS Co-Founder & Executive Chef of Beauty & Essex Chef Chris Santos has 25+ years of experience as an executive chef in Manhattan’s hottest restaurants, as well as his West Coast expansions. He’s the Co-Founder and Executive Chef of all Beauty & Essex locations, along with Stanton Social Prime at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. In addition to his restaurants, he has been a series regular and sitting judge on Food Network’s hit series Chopped since its debut in 2008 and is a two-time show champion himself. Santos has been featured on NBC’s The TODAY Show, CBS’s Early Show, The Martha Stewart Show, and The Rachael Ray Show. CHEF ADAM YOUNG Owner of Sift Bake Shop Adam Young began his career at the age of 12, washing dishes at the local inn in his hometown of Brandon, VT. In 2010, Young was hired as the Executive Pastry Chef at Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI, a Forbes Five Star, Five Diamond, and Relais & Châteaux property. In 2016, Young left Ocean House to pursue his own business endeavors and opened Sift Bake Shop in Mystic, CT, to rave reviews. Young was crowned Food Network’s Best Baker in America in 2018. Young has been a frequent contributor to Food Network and Food & Wine Festivals, and he published his own Sift cookbook in 2021. GEENA Multimedia Communications Specialist for the HR Communications Team Geena works as a Multimedia Communications Specialist for the Human Resources Communications team at Mohegan Sun after a long and successful career in journalism. A Texas native, she and her husband enjoy exploring New England with their baby girl and two dogs.
