Learn more About Us Join from just $50 About Us The World Tourism Association for Culture and Heritage (WTACH) is the global authority on the protection and preservations of cultural heritage assets through the development of responsible, sustainable, ethical, and equitable tourism practices and policies. As a globally recognised and respected NGO we bring together public, private, community-based and specialist academic sector organisations to assist Governments, Donors, Destinations and the Tourism sector as a whole, achieve their long-term goals and objectives whilst minimising the risks associated with inadequate or ineffective Cultural Heritage Tourism (CHT) planning. WTACH is a ‘Not for Profit’ membership organisation that seeks to ensure that the unique attributes, history, and cultural values of the world’s communities are celebrated and preserved for generations to come. Managing the effects of global tourism to ensure the richness of our ancestry will flourish for many generations to come is our priority. Our logoWe wanted to create a symbol that represents humanity. An image that characterised unity and togetherness. Although it may look like an ethnic design, the logo is in fact the molecular structure of a human DNA molecule. The colours used are also symbolic as they represent the first known pigments ever used by mankind. Earth pigments born out of rock and soil and used in the earliest known rock paintings. The high level of iron and limonite creating ochres that produced rich umber, sienna and yellows that were the pallet of humanity’s first artists.Chris Flynn Want to help?Click for membership Join from just $50 The World Tourism Association for Culture and Heritage (WTACH) About Us Nepal Pic Quote Our Logo Join chris@wtach.org Hours Terms Of ServiceCookies/Privacy Policy Copyright ©2020 WTACH (World Tourism Association For Culture & Heritage) All Rights Reserved
