Raju Foundation and Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES) were established by Dr. B.V. Raju to contribute towards development of education and social cause. He is a man of vision, inspiration, confidence, diligence and above all humanity. In his life he believed and followed the quote “SERVE HUMANITY IN YOUR CAPACITY”. He was awarded ‘Padmasri’ by Government of India in the year 1977 for his contribution to Indian Cement Industry. After grand success in industry, Dr. B.V Raju focused his energy to bring transformation in rural education. In recognition of his services to Educational sector and society at large, he was awarded “Doctorate” by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and was conferred the coveted “Padmabhushan” by Government of India in year 2001.
