International collaboration projects FinEst Centre for Smart Cities is already collaborating with experts from Germany, Poland, Latvia, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Ukraine, and several other countries. Explore our international scope! FinEst Twins We are developing cross-border, knowledge-sharing infrastructure through real-life pilot projects in Estonia and Finland. CitySCAPE We aim to review the interplay between security controls and multimodal transport systems in the cities of Tallinn and Genova. IRIS We deploy autonomous detection of IoT and AI threats, enriched with privacy-aware intelligence sharing and collaboration. TREASoURcE We aim to initiate systemic change by developing systemic circular economy solutions in cities and regions. NetZeroCities We pursue the ambition of the Mission Board for Climate Neutral and Smart Cities report, to achieve climate neutrality before 2050. Urban Learning Center We bring new learning and networking opportunities within the M4EG network providing an enabling learning ecosystem. EDIAQI We tackle the emerging threats of indoor air pollution and promote living and working in healthy environments in Europe. CityAM We develop and implement concepts for urban air mobility, landing sites, social acceptance and drone policy development. Urban Learning Center We bring new learning and networking opportunities within the M4EG network providing an enabling learning ecosystem. Cap4City We transforming Latin America cities through knowledge and education FLEdge We are developing a hierarchical flexibility energy management system PLIADES We aim to facilitate cross-domain data sharing by enabling users from diverse data spaces to exchange data safely. Smart city solutions piloted FinEst Centre for Smart Cities has launched and finalized six pilot projects. They all complement each other and aim to ignite a culture of urban experimentation. Get to know them. DigiAudit We optimize building's energy performance and indoor climate with real-time monitoring and analysis platform. Future Mobility Ecosystem We have developed a solution for public and demand-based transport system management. Microgrids and Energy Storage We enable the utilization of energy storage and control systems instead of relying solely on the power grid. Urban Planning Well-Being Score We have developed a well-being score to objectively assess urban environments. The score is used as a tool for city planning. GreenTwins We empower citizens to design urban green areas. For that, we have developed a variety of digital tools – including a plant library. Renovation Strategy Tool We help municipalities to generate, simulate and analyze renovation scenarios in order to make sensible investments.
