Our Resources Peer-to-peer support is the foundation by which The Frederick Center built its organization. We offer programs for all ages and backgrounds! Beginning at age nine, we offer programming that offers both formal and informal gatherings for LGBTQ+ youth, adults, and non-LGBTQ+ caregivers. The Frederick Center organizes the annual Frederick Pride celebration. Pride provides an environment for LGBTQ people, allies, and families to interact and celebrate LGBTQ pride. It serves as the means to coordinate the actions of our community for the coming year. Typically it takes place the fourth Saturday in June. Started in 2012 with an attendance of about 300, it surpassed 30,000 in 2023. For latest info see our web page here.
