ARCHIE SELF IS CROWNED 2024 ADVANCED TOUR CHAMPION ARCHIE Self is the Advanced Tour champion after he was runner-up in both events on the final day of competition on the 2024 tour. The 14-year-old Englishman is the new junior world number one and will captain England A at the World Cup in Gibraltar after finishing five points ahead of Jack Nankervis at the top of the rankings. Self, from Thatcham in Berkshire, was beaten in both finals by Ryan Branley, who booked his spot in the England A team in the process. A special mention should also go to Nankervis, who went into the final day one point behind Self. Their quarter-final meeting in Event 15, which Self won in a deciding leg, was arguably the decisive moment in the race to be crowned champion.   Read more ...
