Read More Women in Exhibitions  Women makeup the majority of the UK's event and exhibitions workforce – estimated a around 80 per cent in entry level positions. Yet, women hold approximately just 20 per cent of board positions. The UK chapter of Women in Exhibitions aims to promote fairness, equity, and diversity in the industry by preparing women for leadership roles through upskilling, networking, mentoring and support. By increasing gender diversity in leadership, research tells us that the sector will benefit from a more diverse pool of perspectives, skills, and experiences – this will be better for society, our audiences and for business. More about us  Become a member What We Do Events WIE holds a wide range of events throughout the year, from social and networking events to thought leadership and educational seminars. Mentoring Our members are encouraged to make use of our mentoring programme, which connects women with two senior industry figures over the course of a year to provide advice, guidance and support. Learning We provide thoughtful and practical live educational sessions specifically designed for the industry leaders of today and tomorrow. Career Support We are passionate about supporting women in exhibitions at every stage of their careers, whether they are working towards a promotion, returning from a career gap or looking for support in areas such as negotiation, workplace difficulties or launching a business.
