Connie mayer (1943-2021) Connie leaves behind a legacy of mentorship and an unwavering commitment to LGBTQ+ causes, and countless people's lives have been changed for the better thanks to the progress she made possible in the fight for equality in our community. Read Connie's obituary here. lenny amaral(1962-2021) Lenny worked most recently as an advocate for HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and treatment at Health Imperatives of New Bedford. He also volunteered his time at the South Coast Alliance of Gay and Lesbian Youth (SOCO-AGLY). Read Lenny's obituary here. joan stratton​(1951-2021) "Joanie" was a long-standing board member at The South Coast LGBTQ+ Network. Her many contributions to the LGBTQ+ community helped pave the way for other trans and nonbinary individuals seeking to live their lives fully and authentically. Read Joan's obituary here.
