Discover Keywords Regional Programmes in Human Rights and Democratisation GC Europe By involving 42 universities across Europe and experts from NGOs and IGOs, this programme has become instrumental in facilitating cooperation in human rights and democracy in Europe and beyond. GC South East Europe By offering highly specialised expertise on human rights education and research, this programme has become a true landmark for the Balkan region. GC Africa The programme addresses the need for highly trained human rights experts in Africa. Its goal is to at develop links between civil society, governments and international organisations. GC Central Asia Master of Arts in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS) is the Academy's recent MA Programme in the field of "Human Rights and Sustainability" that will enroll a total of up to 20 students. GC Asia-pacific Established to increase the promotion and protection of human rights and democracy in the region, the programme offers a rich portfolio of educational and research activities. GC Caucasus The programme serves as a crucial education and research hub for stakeholders involved in the promotion of democracy and protection of human rights in the Caucasus. GC Latin America Caribbean The programme provides a unique postgraduate opportunity that combines experiential learning and research in human rights and democratisation in Latin America and the Caribbean. GC Arab World A unique example in the region, this programme develops a theoretical understanding of the main issues affecting the Arab World and equips students with substantial practical skills.
