For the last several years I’ve found this to be an excellent product, far better than the name brand equivalents in other grocery stores. Moreover, it contained no high-fructose corn syrup as a bonus. Unfortunately, Aldi’s quality seems to have slipped. There seems to be somehow less meat and more stringy. Of the last 4 I bought one had a pouch that was mostly BBQ sauce and seemed to me short on meat. Additionally, the BBQ sauce which was once rich and thick is now watery. It’s a real shame to see a once fine product go downhill. Yes I know they have a money back guarantee but I don’t have time to monkey with that, it’s not the money, it’s the loss of a preferred and trusted product, one that I relied upon.
