Learn more   A new level of Pace PrecisionConsistency measured in decimal points. In elite tennis, the one who strikes first, and strikes hardest, wins. The first four shots – serve, return, each player’s next shot – are crucial to First Strike Tennis. Laykold measures speed consistency in decimal points, whereas other courts use whole numbers. This, for the first time, delivers Pace Precision to tennis and enables attacking play, which means better tennis. How Laykold pace precision is achieved   The only Force Reduction courts to hit the Tennis SweetspotPlay in the Laykold sweetspot for happy knees and fast feet.Tennis is the only international major sport that does not have enforced mandatory force reduction levels. Old cushion technology is over 35 years old and has not evolved with the game. The result? For too long hard courts have been hard on players’ bodies and this has resulted in one of the biggest player welfare challenges facing our sport. It is time for a step change. After hours of R&D and player testing, Laykold scientists have found the tennis court sweet spot; the point at which the right levels of force reduction for the body are balanced with the optimal energy return levels for player performance. This innovation is transformative for the game, the players, the fans and club and event owners. Senior tennis pro, coach and Laykold court expert Scott Windus explains all in this educational video.
