Welcome to Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People. Following the recommendations from the Independent Review, Disability Support Services has transferred to the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). If you are a disabled person, family member, or carer of a disabled person, your first point of contact will continue to be your provider, NASC, or Enabling Good Lives site. Whaikaha will become a standalone department to provide leadership and stewardship for disabled people across government.
