100 Days of Conversations
We believe that the voices of students, educators, and families should be front and center in decisions about how to remake school after this moment. And, that conversations within communities, between people who care about each other (and who have to see one another again soon), are the practice of civil democracy our country needs right now.

In 100 Days, students, parents, and educators discussed what equity in education looked like to them. What makes a thriving community? Our schools are our primary public socializing institution. Yet, the collective purpose of school in creating thriving democratic communities has nearly been lost in today’s conversations. We at 100 Days of Conversations believe it’s important to bring back the conversation about how school creates the “we” - at a local level as well as nationally and even globally. How we do school shapes how we think about who belongs, who counts, how we work together, and even what we want to achieve. What did COVID help us realize is actually most important about school? While the current public narrative is largely about “learning loss”, this was not what was on the minds of 100 Days participants. The things they realized were most important included: social connections of all kinds; the ability to create engaging, differentiated classroom practices; and simply the physical infrastructure and the different kinds of supports available when school was in person.100 Days Pilot PartnersAbigail FrenchAedis ArchitectsAkara Foundation for Education & ResearchAmara LynchAnaid PlascenciaAnica BilisolyAnn MitchellAnnie Fisher Montessori MagnetArete Learning GroupBelgrade Brooten Elrosa Public SchoolsBelgrade-Brooten-Elrosa SchoolsBig Picture LearningBig Picture South BurlingtonBlanche NdlovuBobby BennettBonni JonesBonnie NievesBrandi KennerBridgemakersBruce MartinCasey JohnsonCindi SavelliConnecticut Association for the GiftedCuddeback School/Scotia SchoolDaniel O’BrienDeanna ChuteDevon StanleyDina BerrayDonald DeLandDoron ZingerEarlyprototype.blogEast Side Union High School DistrictGeorgia KosteleckyGeraldine AngHaley GovorkoHeather LawrenceHolly WalshIntermediate District 287Jake FranklinJanelle FieldJason BrisiniJay KeuterJen Agamaite Jennifer Abrams ConsultingJennifer CoteJennifer ElemenJennifer MannJessica DolbiJohn WarnerJose PerezJuwaria JamaKate LohmeyerKathryn CrawfordKavitha LotunKellie BahriKevin CalkinsKristin McKennonLauren BierbaumLea HenauxLearnLaunchLearnMVLearnlifeLiana PonceLincoln BacalLinda AmiciLindsy HanonoLola FernandezLori McEwenLori VangLouise LordMIckey JurewiczMadeline RaynoldsMaine Charter School CommissionMargery BloomMarissa MuoioMark HladekMarlyn YoungMa‘ema‘e Elementary SchoolMelanie PaulsenMike DunnMike PeckMount Diablo UsDNH Leaders for Just SchoolsNatasha LoyaNatasha NorinsNichola de MontaigneNontobeko MdlaloseOlivia ChiangOrchard View SchoolsPalo Alto High SchoolPaul KimPaynesville Area SchoolsPontemeduRISE of PeaceRachel HouseRahma FarahRebekah KangRockaway College ProjectRotary Club of Hermann ParkInterested in partnering? We are actively seeking educator- and youth-driven organizations across the United States to partner with us to enact change.
