Dr. Skira, whose research interests and expertise include modern Eastern Christian theology, Catholic and Eastern Orthodox ecumenical relations and the Second Vatican Council, has been appointed for a five-year term. EXPLORE THE SAINT JOHN’S BIBLE Gordon Rixon, SJ President, Regis College Associate Professor of Systematic Theology Joining the Regis faculty in 1996, Gordon complements his academic work by preaching regularly in local parishes and offering educational seminars in the community. He has a faith-filled commitment to promoting social reconciliation in a pluralist society. Jaroslav Z. Skira Dean, Regis St Michael's Faculty of Theology Associate Professor of Historical Theology Jaroslav Skira has been teaching at Regis College since 2001, and tenured since 2005. He is an Ukrainian Greco-Catholic layperson. John R.T. Berkman Professor of Moral Theology John R. T. Berkman is a professor of Moral Theology with research interests and expertise in healthcare ethics, fundamental moral theology, Thomistic ethics, and ethics in relation to non-human animals. Michael Stoeber Professor of Spirituality and Philosophy of Religion Prof. Stoeber's special interests are in comparative mysticism and theodicy. His current research explores comparative issues in meditation, prayer, and yoga as well as topics on the intersection of spirituality and art. Sr. Gill Goulding, CJ Professor of Systematic Theology Professor Gill specializes in the areas of Ecclesiology and Trinity, the work of Hans Urs von Balthasar, and the papacies of the Popes: John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis. In 2012 she was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI to be a theological expert at the Synod on the New Evangelization for the transmission of the Christian Faith. John Dadosky Professor of Theology and Philosophy John Dadosky came to Regis College to pursue doctoral studies in 1996, specifically to study the thought of Bernard Lonergan. He joined the faculty in July 2001 as professor of Systematic Theology. Director of Basic Degree Programs Professor of Political Theology Gerard Ryan joined Regis College in 2020, having completed his doctoral studies in the Department of Theology and Religion, University of Oxford. His current research explores recognition theories and vulnerability studies as resources for a theological understanding of mutual accompaniment. Gerard J. Ryan, S.J Susan K. Wood, SCL Professor of Systematic Theology Susan K. Wood came to Regis College in 2019 as the first female academic dean. Most of her writing explores the connections between ecclesiology and sacramental theology.
