Some of these activities are:   1. AIC STPI Bengaluru: STPI’s aim is to build a vibrant pan-India start-up eco-system. STPI and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog are collaborating together to build an AIC STPI Bengaluru in Bengaluru for innovative start-ups working in specific domains. The AIC aligns with STPI as well as with shared vision of NITI Aayog to support, promote and grow culture of innovation leading to start-ups & successful entrepreneurs. STPI Bengaluru AIC’s focus area will be IoT and its applications in Health & Pharmaceuticals, E-Commerce, BigData, Artificial Intelligence etc. The STPI-AIC spread over 10,000 sqft shall be equipped with state-of-the art physical infrastructure, lab, common office facilities along with a dedicated team for conducting hackathons, idea challenges, workshops, trainings, technical & business mentoring sessions, assisting start-ups in the matters of IPR filing, legal, accounting etc. With target to incubate about 65 innovate disruptive technology start-ups over a period of 5 years, the AIC shall be a major contributor in promotion of start-ups & entrepreneurs. 2. Centres of Entrepreneurship: To ensure India builds leadership in the emerging sectors of IOT, Block Chain, FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented & Virtual Reality, Medical Electronics, Health Informatics, Gaming & Animation, Machine Learning, Data Science & Analytics, Cyber Security, Chip Designing, ESDM etc. and to build next wave of budding entrepreneurs, Honorable Minister of Electronics & IT announced setting-up of domain centric “Centers of Entrepreneurship” (CoEs) by STPI in collaborative manner across India. Accordingly, STPI is setting-up CoEs in emerging technologies in collaboration with suitable partners in various parts of country. The CoEs aim at providing comprehensive structural & fundamental support including lab & incubation, training, mentoring, hand-holding, funding etc. through a joint collaborative effort of Govt of India, State Govt, Industry, Academia, Domain & Technology experts etc. Working in unison, the CoEs shall give a major impetus to Indian start-ups and overall technology industry of the country. Currently Active CoEs Under the aegis of Ministry of IT and Electronics, Electropreneur Park will primarily aspire to contribute to the ESDM growth story of India. This will be achieved through creation of a holistic eco-system for encouraging R&D, innovation, Entrepreneurship in the ESDM sector in India. We emphasize on development of product and IP creation in the ESDM sector. MOTION, an Automotive Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) in Autonomous Connected Electric Shared (ACES) Mobility by STPI at Pune, with specialized state-of-the-art incubation facility and physical laboratories for start-ups in the area of Autonomous Connected Electric Shared Mobility where the highest-standards. STPI Neuron, a Centre of Entrepreneurship in AI/Data Analytics, IoT and AVG is setup in collaboration with Govt. of Punjab, ISB-Mohali, PTU and Meity. This is an initiative, to identify and evaluate promising start-ups in the field of AI/Data Analytics, IoT and AVG that will be hosted in the Startup Punjab Hub@STPI Mohali Incubation Facility. The STPI FinBlue, a Center of Entrepreneurship in FinTech, is organising a start-up Pitchfest funded by the Government of India. This is an initiative, to identify and evaluate promising start-ups in the field of FinTech, that will be hosted in the Incubation facility at STPI Chennai. This Pitchfest is held in association with TiE Chennai. CoE- STPI IoT OpenLab aims to support & nurture around 500 start-ups over a period of 5 years. The initiative is expected to contribute to Make-in-India & Digital India programmes of Govt. of India by reducing Electronics imports and recognize value of IP & Technology locally. The Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) in ESDM space Electropreneur Park at Bhubaneswar aspires to contribute to the ESDM growth story in India. Through the vision of ‘Design in India’, ‘Make in India’ and the success that Electropreneur Park has had in New Delhi, this CoE aims at creating products and IP in electronic system design and manufacturing sector. IMAGE CoE is an initiative by STPI at Hyderabad to provide resources such as mentoring, technology support and funding for Gaming, Animation, VFX, Computer Vision and AI start-ups. IMAGE offers integrated programs, CVLAB and GameLab, for start-ups to scale up through its incubation facility. Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) can transform the immersive experience of end users and bring revolutionary changes in various industries by providing a virtual experience of the real world through computer generated imagery. Medical electronics & Health Informatics are considered as specialized disciplines that integrate engineering with fields such as clinical practice and biomedical sciences to help clinicians provide better healthcare. STPI OctaNE is inviting applications from the Startups/ Entrepreneurs for Open challenge Program in domain in IoT in Agriculture, Animation and Emerging Tech-AR/VR under phase -1. OCP is a platform where a startup gets an opportunity to solve problems through innovative solutions. FASAL, a CoE for IoT in Agri established by STPI at Dr. PDKV with specialized state-of-the-art incubation facility and physical laboratories for start-ups in area of AgriTech/Smart Agri where the highest-standards and best-practices in terms of infrastructure, technology, leadership, R & D etc. Kalpataru is a Center of Entrepreneurship established under the guidance & tutelage of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Industry 4.0. Kalpataru fosters the spirit of growth and dynamism to help tech-based innovators establish a solid global standing from start to finish. EMTEK, the Entrepreneurship Center, was formed under the leadership of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), the Government of Odisha, and the Government of India in order to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Industry 4.0. With a comprehensive solution. CoE in EA has been setup by STPI in collaboration with the Government of Karnataka, supported by HPEIPL at Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The CoE is the first of its kind in India which is an immersion of innovation, creativity, and new business development for augmentation of the efficiency in all the business verticals, service sector & also in Government operations/projects leveraging emerging Industry 4.0 technologies. As FinTech is one of the emerging industry and continuously growing with the support of government policies, entrepreneurial mindset and capital investments, therefore, the existing start-up & innovation ecosystem in the Gujarat state will be augmented by establishment of FinGlobe CoE at STPI-Gandhinagar by targeting the key priority for economic growth of the state focusing on accelerating the nascent start-ups in the FinTech sector into full fledged companies by providing physical infrastructure, resources, technology support, mentoring, training, funding, marketing etc.   3. Next Generation Incubation Scheme(NGIS): NGIS is a futuristic Incubation Scheme which offers comprehensive support & services to technology start-ups from various STPI incubation facilities pan-India under one common umbrella. NGIS is being operationalized from across 12 STPI Centres viz. Agartala, Bhilai, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Guwahati, Jaipur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Mohali, Patna & Vijaywada. NGIS has a dedicated facility for security & vulnerability assessment of products.   NGIS provides benefits of pan-India mentor pool, knowledge sharing, co-learning & networking and continuous capacity building & skill enhancement through seminars, workshops & trainings.
