More info The Story of Freediving Family 11 years ago, Adam Stern began his competitive freediving career. While traveling the world, Adam would meet the same divers over and over again at each major competition.The wonderful thing about freediving competition is that the competitors are also friends. Friends who compete against each other but also support each other. Imagine a group of friends that only get to see each other a few times a year at competitions. A strong sense of community and family is always in the air.The same bond developed between Adam and his students. They would meet year in year out all over Australia and the world to catch up, share a dive, and explore the ocean together.Many of the original students have gone on to become freediving instructors, dive centre owners and competitors.
