If you are traveling outside the U.S., hold the “0” key down till you see a “+” symbol appear in the display then enter the country code and phone number and press send. To receive a call the phone must be powered on and satellite antenna raised and when it rings simply press send and answer. You could possibly be responsible for costs incurred from a rescue and you can purchase a Global Rescue membership for additional rescue insurance.
