PROMIS has several grading options including six different grading portals designed for county programs. Additionally, PROMIS provides built in alerts for drops, suspensions, transfers, continuous enrollments and short-term enrollments exceeding 30 days. PROMIS for Parents One of the exciting new features of PROMIS is a Parent Portal, which allows parents to access student information and progress. Parents can get updates on homework, grades, graduation status, and attendance. The Parent Portal also allows communication of information through a secure messaging system between the teacher and the parent. PROMIS for Districts PROMIS provides centralized data allowing for multiple school sites to work seamlessly together within their district through the generation of real time custom and ad hoc reports. Student records can transfer instantly between Districts and LEAs. PROMIS provides instant access to student test scores, transcripts, discipline information and demographic data. PROMIS also includes several tools to assist with ADA Reporting, CALPADS Reporting, Pre-ID generation, and other state requirements.
