This religious set captures the essence of faith and comfort, featuring delicate watercolor-style elements that tell the story of the birth of Jesus. Tutorials, Videos | Permalink | Comments (0) | | 2024 Blessing Box - Sharing Gratitude and Hope November 01, 2024 The Blessing Box has become a cherished tradition that I love to share with you each year, and the 2024 version is crafted using the Stampin' Up! Autumn Expressions and Courage & Faith stamp sets. The inspiration for the Blessing Box came from the responses I’d often receive when people told me how much a card from me meant to them. My brother even shared that he had saved every card I’d ever given him, which truly touched my heart. It made me think of those who may rarely receive these little “paper hugs” in the mail. How could I spread that warmth to others, even if only a few? And so, the Blessing Box was born. It’s a small, heartfelt box filled with little cards that carry a kind message, a scripture verse, or an uplifting thought—a simple act of kindness with no signature, no recognition, just a hope that it will brighten someone’s day and remind them they’re cared for. This project was the subject in this week's LIVE video and you can view the recording below.  (Please excuse the echo!) The Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper and Sticker Sheet packs were just right for what I had in mind for these treat pockets. I did order two of these packs so there would be enough stickers for the 30 treat pockets. (We can always use extra paper, right? The reverse side of these designer papers can be used for other projects...not just for Halloween.) Here's a video tutorial with the simple assembly. These treat pockets are sized for treat sized candy bags, mini candy bars, or small favors.   Lisa's Inklings: Cut designer paper 4" x 6". Score on 6" side at 1 1/2" and 4 1/4". Turn and score on what will be the bottom at 1/2". Card stock for sentiment is cut 1 1/4" x 1 1/4". This updated version is created with the Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper and Sticker Sheet. I love the color combo in this pack which is also part of the Halloween Memories Scrapbook Workshop Kit that you will see later this week. Here are some of the details for you to assemble this treat pocket. Cut patterned paper 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".   Score on the 6 1/2" side at 2", 3", 5 ", and 6". Turn and score on the 4 1/2" side at 1" for what will be the bottom. The banner piece on this project is cut 1" x 7" and banner cut at both ends.  This piece is embellished with stickers cut from the Sticker Sheet. This treat pocket's closure is a cute minature paper clip with some gingham ribbon tied at the top. Christmas Labels and the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper.   The festive sentiment and elegantly shaped label with a gold foil label backing make this one fancy and fun.  This card was the first of three designs created during our LIVE broadcast which you can see below. Lisa's Inklings: Card base is cut 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2". The patterned paper (striped) is cut 3 3/4" x 5". The labels are cut from Basic White and Gold Foil.  The foil label is cut in half  with the two pieces glues behind the white label with the sentiment. A faux bow is made by twisting the ribbon and attaching behind the labels using Seal adhesive to hold in place.
